For students who have their heart set on becoming an Army Officer and are still at school, the Army Scholarship supports students through sixth form and university. Students receive £3,000 in the sixth form, and a minimum of £6,000 at university which can be upgraded to one of the other bursaries.

ARMY OFFICER UNDERGRADUATE BURSARIES
Students who are at university, or about to go can receive a bursary to help them meet the cost of studying.
If they pass Army Officer Selection before December of their final year at university, they are eligible to be considered for a bursary from £6,000 - £25,000.

Nursing degrees
There are two main ways to get funding to study nursing. Firstly, you can apply to be a soldier student nurse – which means that not only will your tuition fees be paid by the Army, but you’ll earn a yearly salary of around £21,000. You will need to meet the entry requirements of the Nursing BSc (Hons) at Birmingham City University.
Alternatively, you can be sponsored through university before you join the Army with a nursing bursary of up to £42,000, studying nursing anywhere in the UK.

Aspiring professional musicians could be sponsored up to £9,250 per year with a Music Bursary. To be eligible, students must have a confirmed place on BMus course in performance at a university or conservatoire. Upon graduation, they will have an exciting and varied career with music performance at its heart. All types of instrumentalists will be considered.
