A strong support network can be critical in helping young people through the stress of tough times, whether they’ve had a bad day at school, or a year filled with loss. A lack of social support can lead to isolation and loneliness.

In this lesson students will:
Learn why support networks are important
Be able to explain the different types of support
Be able to analyse some of the barriers to seeking support and how to overcome these barriers

The lesson is supported with an engaging film that gives the topic real-life context and provides excellent discussion points for your class on Support Networks.
