If your son or daughter is 16 or 17, they will start their Army journey as a Junior Soldier at the Army Foundation College Harrogate. Here they will be taught military skills, fitness and education, ready for a great start in whichever part of the Army suits them.AFC Harrogate
Did you know that the Army offers Work Experience for young people who are considering the Army, but want to try it out before they join? This is a five day residential course which gives them a taster of Army teamwork, leadership, confidence and resilience.
If you think your son or daughter would be interested, you'll need to ask their school to arrange for a placement.
MEET YOUR ARMY
The Army hold events all over the country, which are a great opportunity for you to go along and chat to serving soldiers, and ask any questions you might have.
