WHAT IS A RESERVIST OFFICER?

As an officer in the Army Reserve, you will have been trained at Sandhurst and awarded the Queens Commission to serve as an officer in the British Army, commanding soldiers, being challenged, and working with Regular Army as required. You will be paid when you train; in your spare time.

HOW DO I JOIN?

This should only take a few minutes. Once you're in the process, you'll have plenty of support from our team in choosing the right Army career for you.

You'll be introduced to your chosen unit, and have a chance to get to know them - and whether the Army Reserve is right for you. They'll then help you through the rest of the process and getting ready for your assessment course.
