What To Expect
Army Reserve Centres are where Reservists meet for their regular training sessions (known as drill nights).
Most units are really happy for people to join them for drill nights. You'll get a real look at what it's like to be a Reservist. You'll also get the chance to spend time with serving Reservists, and you're able to ask them any questions you might have.
When you decide to apply, your local unit will help you through the process - you don't need to wait until you've finished Army Assessment to get involved.
To join, you have to apply online. The application process will take some time, but you can also ring the unit you're interested in joining - the team there will help often invite you to join them for drill nights, and you'll get support for your application.
Some units are specialist - these are units for people with specific skills.
