You’ll do the apprenticeship most relevant to your job role, as part of your initial trade training. The courses are designed with other employers, ensuring the training is to industry standards and approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.

TYPES OF APPRENTICESHIPS
Your apprenticeship will be on one of the following areas:
- Public services and health
- Engineering
- Telecommunications & I.T.
- Animal care
- Logistics
- Construction
- Business administration
LEVEL 2
Intermediate apprenticeship: equivalent to five good GCSE passes
Job roles on level 2 courses include: Driver, Infantry, Tank Crew, Gunner, Dog Handler, Supply Chain Operative, Armourer and Port Operator If you have not got GCSEs in Maths and English at 4-9, we’ll help you gain level 2 functional skills qualifications.
The course normally takes 12-18 months.
LEVEL 3
Advanced apprenticeship: equivalent to two A level passes- Job roles who enrol on a level 3 course include: HR Specialist, Aviation Ground Specialist, Vehicle Mechanic, Plumber, Combat Medical Technician and Aircraft Technician.
LEVEL 4
Higher apprenticeship: equivalent to a foundation degree. •- Job roles on level 4 courses include: Royal Military Police, Cyber Engineer, Ammunition Technician, Power Engineer, and Operator Military Intelligence.
